10.00-12.00 Sunday 20th May 2018. Spring is a great time for foraging, "The Hungry Gap" doesn't exist in the great outdoors and it's one of the best foraging seasons. We will start off indoors and discuss the health, safety and sustainability of foraging. Jim will cover many plants available in the spring. There will be demonstrations, tastings and recipes of spring foraged foods.
Learn to identify and use many plants that grow all around us in fields, woods and hedgerows. Use these plants as food and medicine with Jim who has many years' experience of using them. Get out into the great outdoors and see the bounty that surrounds us all. Please dress appropriately with boots and rain gear.
