Parsnip 'Gladiator F1'

Has rapidly established itself as a leading variety, which is no surprise. The smooth skinned roots have a really sweet flavour and are resistant to canker. It is quick to establish after germination and remains vigorous.

Sowing:

Sow directly outside in a well prepared seed bed in shallow drills (1.5cm deep).  The best sowing date is in late April/late May.  Any earlier sowings are very unreliable and the plants are more prone to canker.
