One of the best squashes for taste. This pumpkin is not for carving, it's for eating. Steel grey to blue skin that looks amazing while growing and bright orange flesh. Stores for 4 to 6 months if kept cool and dry so very handy to have in the store cupboard.Â

Sow individual seeds into small pots (7 cm) or large modules and keep in a warm place. Pot on into a 10 cm pot when ready. Plant out in late May-June after hardening off. Initial protection with a cloche isÂ beneficial.
Spacing: between plants 1.2m They always need more space than you expect so don't skimp on bed size.Â
