Rhubarb Victoria

This is one of the easiest rhubarbs to grow and it will produce a good crop of greenish coloured, juicy stalks that are not very stringy and have a delicious, sweet flavour.

Soak the seed for 4-5 hours before sowing.
Sow between March and May into seed trays of moist compost and cover lightly, place  outside.

Transplant the seedlings when they are about 6-8cm pots to grow on. Plant into their final growing position in autumn choosing a sunny well drained site.

Ideal for well-drained areas of the vegetable garden, and once planted it should not be moved.
