Ultimate Starter Course (in-person)

This two-day course with GIY Founder and TV presenter (Food Matters & GROW COOK EAT) Mick Kelly (Day 2) and GIY's Head Grower Richard Mee (Day 1) is suitable for new growers with big ambitions as well as experienced growers keen to brush up on their skills.

The programme follows the online course of the same name that has been enjoyed by over 1,000 GIYers around the world. Centred around the model home garden and apartment balcony at GROW HQ, the course will guide you through the 10 key steps to grow GIY's 10 favourite veg in whatever space you have.

Learn from the masters as they take you on the journey from seed to harvest, showing you first-hand how to avoid all the pitfalls along the way.

On each day, you'll enjoy a delicious plot-to-plate mezze tasting lunch overlooking the HQ Gardens and get the chance to meet and learn from fellow GIYers.

This is a two-day event: Saturday 10th June and Sunday 11th June 10am to 4pm

Please arrive 10 minutes before class starts and come dressed appropriately for a weekend spent outdoors in the garden: sturdy footwear, rain jackets, suncream, etc.

Cancellation Policy

We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your booking at least 48 hours prior to event you will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the date will not be refunded.
