10:00-16:00 Saturday, 9th September 2017. Being outdoors in nature and in the garden is deeply healing for us as humans. Reconnecting with the earth, with the soil, with the seasons, with our food and with each other is nourishing. and restoring for our wellbeing. For this full day mindfulness workshop no experience of mindfulness or growing is necessary, come only with an open mind (and not in your best clothes- as we will be in the garden for some of the day). An introduction to Mindfulness will be offered and then collectively we will undertake some mindful and therapeutic gardening activities, we will prepare some of our own lunch from the organic food grown in the Grow HQ garden and come together to eat our lunch slowly, joyfully and with the energy of mindfulness as a group celebrating the abundance of harvest in the autumn garden.
