10:00-16.00 Sunday, 23rd July 2017. James deBurca has been working as a chef specialising in vegan cuisine for many years, working both in Ireland and the USA. For the last 10 years he has been based in Dublin, dividing his time between the kitchen in Cornecopia, Dublin's renowned Vegetarian Restaurant and the classroom at Cooks Academy providing tutoring in all aspects of plant based foods to student chefs and home cooks. He develops recipes for classes and workshops and recipe writing for consultancy, publishing and other media outlets. This is a full day workshop covering a wide range of savoury and sweet plant based recipes. The class will incorporate some of the best seasonal produce from the HQ garden. You will learn the many dairy, egg and meat free alternatives available and how to adjust recipes to suit other food alternatives. James will discuss nutritional information and how to eat healthily and heartily Vegan style. This workshop is perfect for those who are looking for new and exciting vegan recipes to add more fruit and vegetables to their diet or for those who simply want to expand their repertoire of vegan foods.
