The day has arrived – our Veg Boxes are on the move (literally). After the success of our trial run, we’re ha-pea to share that we’re expanding our customer collection point. “What does that mean for me?” we hear you ask. With our two new collection points in Dungarvan and Kilkenny, even more GIYers will now be able to enjoy freshly grown veg.

benefits of a veg box

If you’ve ever grown your own veg, you’ll know it really does taste better (we believe it so much, that it’s the foundation of GROW HQ). Supermarket veg has more air miles than most of us before it even arrives in Ireland, the only air miles our veg clock is the ones between being picked from the ground and placed in its box.

Our veg boxes are freshly picked every week and organically grown at the GROW HQ Market Garden on the Curraghmore Estate.

Plus, when you grab a veg box, you’re:

  • Eating with the seasons
  • Supporting local growers
  • Cutting down on food miles

how does it work?

It’s super easy to subscribe to our veg box, just follow the steps below.

  1. Visit larder.giy.ie and choose between the Veg Box (plant-based) or the Farm Box (veg & eggs)
  2. Selection your chosen collection location – GROW HQ, Waterford (Saturdays), Cass & Co, Dungarvan (Saturdays), or Butcher John Toy’s Stall, Mountain View Market, Kilkenny (Sundays)
  3. Collect, cook, and enjoy! We’ll email you every week or bi-weekly to let you know if you’re scheduled to collect a veg box.

What are you waiting for? Get your subscription and we’ll see you at the pick-up.
