About the Author

Michael Kelly is founder of GIY. He has written columns on food and health for The Irish Times, The Irish Independent and Food & Wine Magazine. Michael is presenter with Karen O’Donohoe of the RTE 1 TV series GROW COOK EAT, which was filmed on location at GROW HQ in Waterford. Michael is a member of the Irish Food Writers Guild and The Taste Council, and received the ‘Local Food Hero’ award at the 2017 Irish Restaurant Awards.
