There is no better feeling than putting some of your own food on the table. This large sized GROWBox is the perfect accompaniment to the online version of our popular course, How Food Grows - absolutely FREE with every purchase of this GROWBox. It's got everything you need to follow Mick throughout this 12 week course, and transform your empty space into thriving veg patch. Imagine yourself tucking in to nutritious beetroot, crunchy radishes, sweet garden peas and delicious oriental salad leaves.  But before you get there, you’ve got to grow them.

    What’s in the GROWBox?

      • Seeds x 12 - Basil (Sweet Genovese),Beetroot (Detroit Globe), Chard (Rainbow Chard), French Beans (Cobra), Kale (Nero Di Toscana), Lettuce (Surprise Mix), Garden Peas (Greenshaft), Carrots (Early Nantes), Radish (Cherry Belle), Spinach (Perpetual), Oriental Greens, and Wild Rocket.
      • 1 Pencil and notepad and plant labels – always a good plan to jot down your sowing dates, progress and good intentions; and to label pots.
      • Pots/Trays for sowing some of your seeds in to:
        • Rice Husk pots: 2 x 9cm and 2 x 1L
        • Coir pots: 8 x 8cm, 2 x 10cm
        • Coir seed trays x 3
      • Compost Discs x 6 – they bulk out when you add water
      • 250g bag Seaweed Feed - for feeding your soil
      • A little grow your own Guide (stuffed with loads of stuff we’ve learned about growing)
  • Where to grow them:

You might have a 2 acre field, or a tiny apartment, a suburban back garden or allotment. Most veg (with the exception of the carrots) benefit from being started off in a smaller pot or tray and then transplanted when they get a little bigger.  We recommend sowing the seeds on a windowsill inside your house or apartment to start. When the seedlings get a little bigger, we will be moving them in to bigger pots to grow them either inside or outside on your balcony, terrace, patio or veg patch.
